Chard RFC

Chard Rugby Football Club was founded initially in 1876 and reformed after the Second World War. It is affiliated to both the Rugby Football Union and the Somerset RFU.

Chard is a thriving town in South Somerset with a population of approximately 12000.

The Rugby Club main ground and clubhouse is situated right in the middle of the town immediately behind The Cerdic (Wetherspoons) public house and is  well signposted.

The Club runs 3 regular Senior sides and also has a vibrant Mini and Junior section with teams from under 7 upwards.

Senior Training (including Colts) is on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7 pm and the Mini and Junior sides meet on Sundays at 10 am.

New members are always welcome.
